Important information about getting and using our cards, as well as opening a new First Share account: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person opening an account with us.
To be able to be issued a First Share Card — Active Card® or Fluto Card®, you will be required to open a First Share Account, if you don't have one already; even when you have completed your card application process(es) on this page.
Before opening an account, we generally must obtain your name, address, date of birth, taxpayer identification number or other identifying numbers (e.g., SSN or employer identification number) and other information that will allow us to identify you and to better understand you and/or your business.
We also may ask to see documentation verifying your identity, such as an unexpired driver's license or passport or, in the case of a business applying for a Fluto Card®, a certified copy of articles of incorporation and/or a government-issued business license, authorized signers, account owners, and your officers, directors, beneficial owners, and controlling shareholders.
Upon completion of this application, your application, account, and device information and use patterns will be shared with Stripe, Celtic Bank, and/or its financial partners, and service providers for application processing, identity and entity verification, fraud prevention, security, for the purposes of tailoring services to you, comply with our legal obligations, and to smoothen our communication with you.
